Just a reminder for all students that the illustrious U-Pass remains deferred until the end of the Winter 2021 semester due to COVID-19 and MRU’s temporary transition to online course delivery. Early into the pandemic, SAMRU Representation Exectivues consulted with MRU to defer the U-Pass as a way to help students save money since the U-Pass will not be included in fees this semester.

Discounted bus tickets* are available through SAMRU for MRU students who need them

SAMRU understands that the deferral of the U-Pass will impact students in different ways. SAMRU has secured heavily discounted bus tickets for students who still rely on the transit system for transportation. Discounted bus tickets are another valuable service offered by SAMRU to make things easier for students during this trying time. 

This is one hot deal! All SAMRU members (if you’re a credit student, we are talking to you!) can purchase a book of 10 transit tickets from us for only $21 — that’s 40% off the regular price of transit tickets! Can’t make it to campus? We can mail them straight to your home for an additional shipping charge.

Winter 2021 — ticket booklets for mail delivery can now be requested online through this form. Want to pick them up yourself? You can always make an appointment by calling 403-440-6077 or emailing reception@samru.ca.
