Discounted/Emergency Bus Tickets

Discounted Bus Tickets

SAMRU understands that the decision to defer the U-Pass will affect students to varying degrees, which is why we’re happy to let you know that we’ve secured deeply discounted transit tickets for students who rely on the transit system. We’re here to support you and we hope this is yet another valuable service we can offer to make things a little easier.

What’s the deal? Well, SAMRU members (if you’re a credit student, that’s you!) can purchase a book of 10 transit tickets from us for only $21 — which is 40% off of the regular price! We can mail them straight to your home for an additional shipping charge.

Contact Reception at reception@samru.ca or (403) 440-6077 to request tickets!

Emergency Bus Tickets

In an emergency (e.g. forgot or lost wallet), we give students two bus tickets per day to a maximum of eight tickets per semester in the Fall and Winter. Max four tickets per semester in Spring and Summer.

The Peer Support Centre (PSC) provides peer-led, barrier-free services, connecting all parts of the campus community to support students as they achieve their goals. The PSC is open to all current credit MRU students free of charge, and includes many food and financial security programs and services.
