Event Details

In collaboration with Crafternoon and in honour of Transgender Day of Remembrance, participants will learn how to make terrariums with a Pride twist. We’ll have rainbow rocks, crystals, and other nick knacks with which to decorate your creations in the colours of the Trans Pride flag. These mini-gardens are great, low-maintenance way to surround yourself with plants during the cold winter months. We’ll have limited supplies, so make sure to arrive promptly so you don’t go home empty-handed!

The entire campus community is welcome to join us for free garden workshops throughout the fall and winter semesters. Even when it isn’t gardening season, you can attend workshops to de-stress, stay involved in the community garden, and build your gardening skill set for next season. Visit samru.ca/garden for details on upcoming workshops.
