Event Details

Join Camp fYrefly reps Hilary (she/her) and Jace (they/them) as they guide you through a cool queer craft and share their experiences attending and volunteering at the camp. Get ready to explore identity, get creative and have fun with this special Pride Week Crafternoon!

Camp fYrefly is a four-day retreat for LGBTQ+ youth and allies, aged 14-24. It began at the University of Alberta, and now has locations in Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatchewan. Camp fYrefly was developed as a safer space for campers to learn, create, make friends and develop leadership skills. There are lots of fun programs and workshops including an artist-in-residence who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Arts-based learning is a huge part of the camp experience.
