Cultures of MRU: MRU Access and Inclusion Services Workshop on Systemic Discrimination
Systemic discrimination refers to policies and practices that prevent certain groups from experiencing the same outcomes as majority groups. These policies and procedures often seem to be equitable on the surface but have discriminatory effects. In this session, the group will look at some examples of systemic discrimination and discuss the implications.
Presented as a partnership between MRU Access & Inclusion Services and the Faculty of Health, Community and Education Advocacy group.
