Join Dion Simon, Medicine Trail Coordinator of the Iniskim Centre at MRU, speak about what Indigenous cultural awareness looks like and how it can be used to ensure all students feel like they belong at MRU. Simon works with faculty and students across the university to build Indigenous education programs that embrace Indigenous ways of knowing. The Iniskim Centre provides a space to support Indigenous students and is a place for the Indigenous community to grow.
