In collaboration with a student-led project and Rainbow Seniors Calgary, SAMRU is happy to bring Rainbow Post to MRU. Rainbow Post works to create and foster a connection between LGBTQ+ seniors and MRU students. With the fatigue of screen time use, having a pen pal can create an outlet for creativity and genuine connection. Students interested in taking part in the program are invited to register by emailing pridecentre@samru.ca. Once seniors and students have registered and shown interest in the program, they will be matched as penpals and sent a welcome package from Rainbow Post. All information will remain confidential, with the exception of your name, pronouns, mailing address, and bio, which will be shared with your matched pen pal. LGBTQ+ allies are also welcome to participate in the program! 

A $10 Staples gift card will be given to participants to help with stationary materials needed to create letters.
