SAMRU has partnered with the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Community
Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) to offer the SAMRU Free Tax Clinic! The program is for low-income individuals who meet the criteria set out by the CVITP program to encourage them to file their taxes.

Our clinic is run by trained volunteers and design to help low-income individuals with simple tax situations. Any Mount Royal University student (or low-come individuals) can use this service provided they meet certain qualifying criteria. Unfortunately, we cannot process returns for individuals who do not meet the criteria outlined by the CVITP.
