On Valentine’s Day from 12:30 pm – 3 pm, the Mount Royal University Creative Writing Club is bringing the typewriters to Main Street for a unique fundraising event: Just My Type!

Our goal is to raise money for the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation to help nurture the power of reading and writing in the lives of young people.

Come out to Main Street and request a poem for your Valentine’s Day sweetheart! Our talented Creative Writing Club members will compose a personalized poem for you and your special someone in exchange for a cash small fee that will be donated to the Foundation (or proof of donation).

We hope you’ll join us on Valentine’s Day for this special event and help us support the cause of children’s literacy!
