West Gate Social is an inclusive and queer-friendly space that encourages students to express themselves just as they are. Mason Jenkins (The Corey Hotline)
Hitting the stage first is Mason Jenkins of The Corey Hotline, a garage rock trio from Calgary. Jenkins is a proud member of the transgender community and a tattoo artist at Wimpy’s Tattoo, a private studio in downtown Calgary. Being transgender himself, Jenkins wants to create a safe, equitable, and inclusive space to be tattooed. Check out The Corey Hotline’s Bandcamp and YouTube to hear their music!
Krill Williams

Next at this special edition of Live Music Thursday: Rainbow Edition is Krill Williams, an indie rock group from Treaty 7 Territory in Calgary, Alberta. Krill is an all-femme band that blends inspiration from personal experiences by experimenting with alternative, soft-post punk genres laced with dreamy vocals and heavy lyrics. You can check out Krill Willams’ Bandcamp and YouTube!
Celebrate the beautiful diversity of the local music scene at West Gate Social on November 25 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. to hear some great music, meet new people, and grab some clothes that will make you feel like your best self!
