Each year for the past 17 years SAMRU’s Native Student Centre (NSC) has hosted a pow wow dance to celebrate the accomplishments of aboriginal graduates as well as all MRU graduates. November 3rd, 2012, the NSC will be hosting the 18th annual Honouring Graduates Pow Wow and everyone is invited to attend.

While the pow wow is intended to honour recent graduates, current MRU students of any cultural background are also welcome at the pow wow. Families and friends of recent graduates are also welcome, as are members of the community who support students throughout their academic career.

In order to keep the dancers and drummers well-nourished and energized, SAMRU’s The Hub restaurant will be serving a free dinner of stew and bannock to all attendees.
