Spencer Jo is a musician mostly based in Calgary, Alberta. Playing in punk bands since he was 17 and releasing his first solo album in 2007, Spencer has travelled across Canada in the spirit of his music. Formerly playing with the River Jacks, Spencer is still rocking and pursuing music on his own.
A troubadour with a restless heart in the truest sense of the word, Spencer Jo sings rickety folk ballads that sear with the experience of someone much older. Whether he’s up on stage alone or with his backing band, he weaves powerful stories of growing up, what it means to take responsibility in life and figuring out one’s place in the world.

Check out Spencer’s Bandcamp here where you can support and listen to his music. Every Friday Bandcamp hosts ‘Bandcamp Fridays’ where 100% of the proceeds go to the artist.
We hope to see you on March 17 at West Gate Social from 4:30-7:00 p.m. to celebrate the legend that is St/ Patricks Day, enjoy live music, and be back together again!
