Camille is the SAMRU Vice President Student Affairs for 2020/21. She is in her fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts Policy Studies program with a Minor in Women Gender Studies.
Before the election Camille has been part of volunteer groups around the city such as Feed The Hungry Initiatives and the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. She is also a writer for the website Thought Catalog and FEMME Magazine. Camille’s MRU involvement includes serving as the Policy Studies Executive Coordinator for the MRU Policy Studies Students’ Society as well as a Student Advisor for the Student Library Advisory Council.
Camille is passionate about ensuring the student experience at Mount Royal is the best it can be! She is always open to meeting students to discuss their areas of curiosity and finding how to include this into her daily work. Focus points for Camille’s advocacy work is Dating, Domestic and Sexual Violence education and Mental Health.
