Do you need a textbook, but the price of the brand-new book has you sweating? Have you posted your books on the internet in hopes of selling them but you haven’t had a single bite? Check out SAMRU’s Used Book Sale service! You can buy the books you need without breaking the bank, and you can support your fellow students by putting your old books up for sale. Plus you make some money back when you sell, so it’s a win-win!

We have an updated process to buy and sell books so that you can access the service year-round. Here’s how it works!

If you’re selling books, please email usedbooks@samru.ca with your name, phone number, book titles, and selling prices for your books. Once you’ve done that, someone will reach out within two business days to arrange a day, time, and location for drop off. If your book sells, you’ll receive 75% of the sale price! 

If you’re buying books, please email usedbooks@samru.ca with the titles and editions of the books you are looking for (pictures of the covers are great too). We will check our inventory and someone will respond within 2 business days. If we have the books in stock and you wish to purchase, we’ll arrange a date and time when you can come to campus to pick up and process payment.
