Want to get involved with advocacy on campus? You can with VPAAC! The Vice-President Academic Advisory Committee (VPAAC) is a body of students who discuss academic matters at MRU. The members serve as student representatives on the General Faculties Council (GFC), the MRU institutional council that makes decisions related to academic planning and policies at the university. Members can also serve on a variety of other committees throughout the university. Members of VPAAC gain valuable skills and experience including practical meeting skills, facetime with university professionals, and the opportunity to represent student concerns to one of the most important decision-making bodies in the University.

Your returning VP Academic is looking for members to join the committee for the 2018-19 academic year! If you’d like to be more involved, now’s your chance! Send your resume and cover letter to by April 20th to be considered!

Take a look at what the committee’s been up to this past year.
