There are a number of international and national days and weeks of awareness in March, and some of SAMRU’s service centers will be recognizing them in different ways.

March 8 is International Women’s Day – Visit SAMRU’s Pride Centre if you want to learn more about gender issues >> https://samru.ca/supportservices/diversity/ The Pride Centre is on the second floor of Wyckham House, and drop-in visits are welcome during centre hours. Check out the NSC’s Round Dance on March 8, in celebration of women.

March 17-21 is Canada Water Week, and March 22 is World Water Day – visit SAMRU’s Sustainability Centre if you want to learn more about water issues in Canada and around the world! >> https://samru.ca/supportservices/sustainability/ You can also find the Sustainability Centre on the second floor of Wyckham House

March 21 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination – The Cultural Mosaic Centre on the third floor of Wyckham House is a great resource if you want to discuss issues of racial discrimination and how to overcome them on this day or any other >> https://samru.ca/supportservices/mosaic/
