Description

The Afro-Cari Student Club will provide a variety of events for students, fundraiser, dance lessons, potlucks, creative projects, Games night, fashion show, parties and any additional activities proposed by our members. Our Club’s vision is to provide students with a wider range of opportunities as well as to develop, celebrate and honour African and Caribbean heritage. As well knock down barriers between Africans and non-Africans.

Club Mission

Mount Royal University's Afro-Cari Students' Club is a cultural club that celebrates and honors African and Caribbean heritage. We aim to enhance awareness, knowledge, and appreciation to several cultural backgrounds by offering a multicultural platform for students to connect and embrace our diverse cultures. Our goal is to build a platform for peers to come together and support one another, connect with people, and ease the stress of school. Our club can also provide a welcoming environment for new or returning students who may have difficulty interacting with others or interacting with someone new, making it valuable to provide a sociable environment for individuals to connect and be introduced to diverse cultures and experiences.
