To develop and sustain a community of like-minded progressive individuals interested in adding to the current political discourse, from a social democratic point of view.
To introduce the policies and philosophies of the New Democratic Party (NDP) to the community of Mount Royal University;
To serve as an organizer of politically themed events for members of MRUND with the intention to help expand and grow the Alberta New Democratic Party (ANDP), Canada’s New Democratic Party (CNDP) and the New Democratic Party of Canada (NDP).

To serve as the liaison between the members of the Mount Royal University community, the Alberta New Democratic Party at Large and Canada’s New Democratic Party at Large.
