This program will focus on the prevention of domestic violence and toxic relationships by
providing participants with skills to create positive relationships, such as practicing self
compassion, self-care, boundaries, consent, and navigating rejection.

BE(lieve in) YOU is a peer support program in partnership with Sagesse for those who identify as women who are facing an increased risk of violence and abuse because of their involvement in sex work.
This 20-week program allows women to connect and learn from other women who have had similar experiences – consensual or not. Be(lieve in) YOU is about empowering women to achieve their goals and create safety wherever possible while accepting that safety is not always in our control.
This program supports all individuals and their choices in the work they engage in. Anyone who is interested in attending the program can call (403-234-7337 ext. 100) or email (programs@sagesse.org) by January 27, 2021. Participants should mention they are interested in registering for the SAMRU BE(lieve in) YOU program.

This is also the deadline to opt into the SAMRU Benefits plan, or purchase coverage for your spouse and/or dependant(s).
