Sex Toy Bingo is coming up on February 16th! If you’re interested in learning more about sexual health, sexuality, and safe sex practices, or if you are looking for support in any of these areas, take a read through this list of resources.

SAMRU Pride Centre (Room Z211)

The Pride Centre is located in Room Z211 on the second floor of Wyckham House. In the Pride Centre, you will find:

  • The Gender-Affirming Clothing Swap
  • Pronoun Buttons
  • Free Prophylactics
  • Games
  • A library
  • Resources & Referrals

The Pride Centre also hosts ongoing programs throughout the year, such as Crafternoon, Rainbow Post, and Wellness Wind Down. Check out the Pride Centre events calendar.

On-Campus Dating, Domestic, and Sexual Violence Supports

If you or someone you know has been victimized by dating, domestic, or sexual violence, you are not alone. Help is available. Information, support, and resources are available on campus.

MRU Wellness Services (Room U216)

MRU Wellness Services is located in Room U216 (on the way to Recreation) and provides a variety of services and resources. If you are seeking sexual health education and/or STI testing, the services at the Health Services Medical Clinic are available to these MRU community members:

  • All credit students, including occupational programs in Continuing Education
  • Faculty members of the Mount Royal Faculty Association (MRFA)
  • Employee members of the Mount Royal Staff Association (MRSA), Mount Royal exempt management, and employees
  • The spouse and child dependents of students living in the Indigenous Family Residence program at Mount Royal

Centre for Sexuality
The Centre for Sexuality provides education, training, and counselling services.

Alberta Health Services – Sexual and Reproductive Health
AHS provides resources and information to Albertans on a wide variety of sexual and reproductive health topics.
