This summer, REC will be filling student volunteer roles and a part-time staff role to help with their advocacy efforts at the university. These roles work closely with REC through the Representation Executive Advisory Committee (REAC) to ensure that students have a voice in matters affecting them!Â

The balmy weather of May has finally arrived, and with it comes a new year of student representation. Your 2024-25 Representation Executive Council’s terms have officially begun!
Polls for this year’s elections opened on March 27, with over 300 students casting their vote. Students who requested a religious exception due to required observations during the time of the AGM were granted advance polls in the days prior to the elections.
But without further adieu, here are your new Representation Executive Council and Student Governing Board members for the 2024-2025 term.

No matter how involved you are with SAMRU, you will be impacted by what happens at the AGM.
