With the number of services that we rely upon the internet for, such as banking, socializing, shopping, or accessing government websites like Student Aid Alberta, it can be easy for personal cyber security to slip down the list of priorities when browsing, but that’s all the more reason to be proactive!
The smell of delectable candy wafts through the air, the chocolate river flows, and Wyckham House turns on the bright lights to honour the exceptional members on campus at the annual SAMRU Awards Ceremony!
Polls for this year’s elections opened on March 27, with over 300 students casting their vote. Students who requested a religious exception due to required observations during the time of the AGM were granted advance polls in the days prior to the elections.
But without further ado, here are your new Representation Executive Council and Student Governing Board members for the 2024-2025 term.
We hope the thrills and chills of the Winter Semester have treated you well! While you were hard at the grind and enjoying a well-deserved reading week, your Representation Executive Council (REC) has been hard at work, advocating for changes and improvements in and around campus that matter most to you, our members!Â
Keep reading to hear what your team has been up to during the month of February.
As we gear up for the final stretch of the Winter Semester and even graduation for some of you (congrats!), we’re still chock full of events for you here at SAMRU.Â
Before you head out for a spring of internships, travelling, and walking the stage, here’s everything that’s happening in and around Wyckham House this March.
As Reading Week is already underway and midterm season is in full swing, it’s natural to feel stressed or overwhelmed with all your projects, exams, or assignments this semester. However, it’s essential to remember that there are numerous resources available on campus …
While you’ve got some time in between study sessions, here are some events and activities you can take advantage of in the Calgary Area that won’t break the bank.
We hope your semester is going well, and that you are keeping up with your classwork. Throughout the final weeks of 2023 and into the new year, your Representation Executive Council (REC) continues to work hard at advocating for changes and improvements in and around campus that matter most to you, our members!Â
The calendar has officially flipped over, and we’re into the new year of 2024. But while students were writing exams, enjoying events, and even graduating (congratulations, by the way!) over the past year, your Representation Executive Council (REC) was advocating for what matters most to you, our members!
