Have a resource you’d like to share with your community? Email pridecentre@samru.ca to submit to the Relationship, Identity, and Sex (RIS) Programmer. Join us on January 27th, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm for another virtual Clubs Expo! This semester, we’ll be using Discord to facilitate the expo. Discord is a third-party app so we encourage everyone to check out Discord’s safety guidelines before getting started. Users will also be asked to agree to our server’s rules before joining.
You can join SAMRU’s server here. We’ve created a category called “Clubs” on our server. Under the category, you’ll find a channel for each club that has signed up to participate in the Expo. They’ll be available to chat with for the entirety of the expo (4:00-6:00 pm) so you can connect with the club you’re interested in joining directly. Club Executives: Sign up to participate in the expo here.
Like using Discord? We do too! While each club’s channel will disappear after the expo, you can still connect with clubs on the “Clubs General” channel. There’s also a channel for club executives to connect and share resources. Make sure to check out the other categories and channels on the SAMRU Server while you’re there. 😉

BE(lieve in) YOU is a peer support program in partnership with Sagesse for those who identify as women who are facing an increased risk of violence and abuse because of their involvement in sex work.
This 20-week program allows women to connect and learn from other women who have had similar experiences – consensual or not. Be(lieve in) YOU is about empowering women to achieve their goals and create safety wherever possible while accepting that safety is not always in our control.
This program supports all individuals and their choices in the work they engage in. Anyone who is interested in attending the program can call (403-234-7337 ext. 100) or email (programs@sagesse.org) by January 27, 2021.
